We are pleased to announce the renewal of the partnership with The Opera Foundation, the organisation which selects youn american singers to start the professional career. This collaboration involves us together with other three great european theatres: the Dutch National Opera of Amsterdam, the Deutsche Oper of Berlin and the Bayerische Staatsoper of Munich.
«This is the largest and most diverse group of singers the Opera Foundation is sending to our partnering opera houses in Europe, a total of six» according to Bernhard Koepp, the Opera Foundation’s President.
Two of the six winners will take part to next Teatro Regio Season in 2020/2021 thanks to the scholarship conferred by the Opera Foundation. So we welcome the baritone Erik Earl Larson from Madison (Wisconsin), graduated at the Music Academy of the West and the Boston University, and the mezzo-soprano Gina Perregrino from Wilmington (Delaware), graduated at the Manhattan School of Music.
