Viva Verdi!
Under the baton of Andrea Battistoni, the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro Regio perform the great choral and symphonic pages from Macbeth and Nabucco. The supernatural forces looming in these two operas by Verdi are also echoed in Brahms’ Schicksalslied (Song of Destiny)—one of the most moving works in the choral-orchestral repertoire—and in Tchaikovsky’s symphonic fantasy Francesca da Rimini, perfectly aligned with the opening opera of the 2025/2026 Season.
