Thanks to the unanimous approval obtained in each tour and the quality of the productions presented during the Seasons, the Teatro Regio Torino continues to receive many invitations abroad. After a triumphal tour in Tokyo, St. Petersburg, Edinburgh, Paris, the United States and Canada, to name the most important, Hong Kong is next. We will be the guests of honour of the 44th Hong Kong Arts Festival, the most important festival of the Far East. We have a week within the festival in which we will present the opera Simon Boccanegra and three concerts. This comprehensive program from a varied musical style, from Verdi to Shostakovich, through Wagner and Prokofiev, is to present the ductility and the undisputed level of the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro Regio.
