8 settings for Macbeth

One of the models realized by Polytechnic students

On Friday 6 July at 11.30 am in the Atelier Hall of Palazzo Madama will take place the inauguration of the exhibition 8 settings for Macbeth; the exhibit will be available for visits till the 10th of September.

On show there will be the maquette realized by the Polytechnic of Turin Architecture last year degree students in collaboration with Teatro Regio, as a result of a year-long workshop, which took place in 2016-2017 academic year, during which students have deepened the study of Macbeth by Giuseppe Verdi.

The project has been realized around the scenography studios of the Teatro Regio, where students had the chance to undertake sketches development, models, technical charts, scene elements samples. On show it will therefore be possible to enjoy real projects, potentially ready for a staging.

The exhibition has been carried out by:
Roberto Monaco, Polytechnic of Turin full professor
Valentina Donato, architect
Claudia Boasso, set designer of Teatro Regio
Attilio Piovano, Conservatory “G. Cantelli” of Novara professor
Loris Poët, architect
Martina Poët, graphic illustrator
