Chorus master

Claudio Fenoglio

Claudio Fenoglio, born in 1976, graduated with honours in pianoforte, choral music and conducting, also taking a degree in composition. He attended numerous specialization courses in pianoforte held by various teachers, including Laura Richaud, Franco Scala, Giorgio Colombo Taccani e Gilberto Bosco. In parallel with his academic studies, he began to work in the field of opera as an assistant conductor before specializing in choral conducting. He then began his activity as Assistant Chorus Master at the Teatro Massimo di Palermo collaborating with Franco Monego for two years. In 2002 he started his work at the Teatro Regio as Assistant to the Chorus Master Claudio Marino Moretti and afterwards Roberto Gabbiani. From 2007 he assumed the job of Associate Chorus Master, alternating with the Principal Master in some productions of the Teatro Regio season and collaborating with the Philharmonic Chorus of the same Theatre.
In November 2010 he was named Chorus Master of the Teatro Regio di Torino, appointment which he still holds together with that of Chorus Master of the Children's Chorus of the Teatro Regio and of "G. Verdi" Conservatory.
