Music Festival 2008
The day dedicated to the Music Festival is organized in collaboration with the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Torino and in particular with Silvana Moyso’s school of singing, Riccardo Balbinutti’s school of percussion instruments and Vittorio Muò’s school of clarinet.

Puccini and his women
From some of Giacomo Puccini’s most famous operas, on the 150th anniversary of his birth, a parade of female characters with their passions and dramas interpreted by sopranos Lee Kyung Hee and Alessandra Sassi and by the mezzo-soprano Ombretta Bosio.

A concerto for marimba and piano with music by J.S.Bach and Paul Creston. Simone Rubino on marimba and Glenda Cantone at the piano.
Giardino delle rose - 3:30 – 5:00 – 6:00 pm
A musical installation by Tirovi Umoto, with the participation of the dancer Erika Di Crescenzo and a clarinet quartet composed of Francesco Barbieri, Antonio Capolupo, Ettore Guadagni and Francesco Mori.

JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH
A valuable occasion to listen live to two concertos for two harpsichords and violins by Johann Sebastian Bach and two concertos for two violins, strings and continuo by Antonio Vivaldi as performed by the Montis Regalis, famous worldwide for its recordings and concerts of Baroque music. Concertmaster and violin soloist will be Alessandro Tampieri.
