A summer hunting music

La Reggia di Venaria is today one of the places in Italy where the attention of the public is chiefly concentrated, a public that, besides admiring the wonderful restoration of the Savoy residence, intends to enjoy its Gardens and the artistic proposals which also this year will be a great attraction. I believe that our commitment, together with that of the city of Venaria Reale and with the expertise of the Teatro Regio, has made it possible to present a programme of absolute excellence and of interest from many points of view.

In the next few weeks, Venaria Real Festival will be presenting evenings of great music in the extraordinary setting of the Gardens of the Palace.
The Teatro Regio has been called to manage the staging and programming of this festival, and to place itself at the crossroads of numerous organisations of excellence from Torino, assisted by the enthusiasm of the Azienda Speciale Multiservizi di Venaria. The result is an appealing programme that ranges from Baroque to electronic music, entrusting the performances to several great orchestras and artists who owe their international renown to experimentation in the world of contemporary music.

Carlo Emanuele II regarded La Venaria Reale as the place where he could hunt like a king under the watchful eye and the approval of the goddess Diana, to whom the Reggia is dedicated. It is for this reason that we have chosen to present the Festival with a totally feminine theme, by way of four appointments with marvellous female artists, each with her own unique and unmistakable style.
